IN NEED OF A FRESH START.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
The facility of Phenomenal Women - Gifts of God will offter a full, residential service for up to six (6) women for a period of one (1) year.
EDUCATION
Basic reading and mathematics will be taught to those women who demonstrate a need.
JOB SKILLS TRAINING
Job taining will take place on a weekly basis. This program is designed to teach employable skills in an effort to give the program participants a fair chance of competing in today's job market. The training will include computer, vocational, and business etiquette classes.
PARENTING CLASSES
Program participants will be instructed on listening, conflict resolution, effective communication and other skills that will enhance their ability to effectively raise their children. These sessions will be held in both open group and closed, one-on-one sessions.
COUNSELING
SPIRITUAL/CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
A trained and licensed member of the clergy will lead these counseling sessions. In these sessions, issues will be handled in a courteous manner while finding Bible-based solutions. Prayer will be an integral part of these sessions.
ABUSE COUNSELING
A licensed social worker will be on hand to counsel with substance abusers and those who abuse or have been abused in other areas. These sessions will be held in both open group and closed sessions. In addition, a clinical psychologist and medical doctor will be on call.
*Counseling will be available 24 hours a day.
